TERMS OF USE FOR CALICOACH

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the CaliCoach app.

2. Service description

CaliCoach provides analysis and coaching features for calisthenics attempts. Depending on the feature, the app processes videos, keyframes, pose data, metrics, and text input in order to generate training feedback.

3. Not a medical service

CaliCoach is not a medical device and does not replace medical, physiotherapy, or therapy advice. The app is provided solely for training and technique guidance.

4. No guarantee of accuracy

AI feedback, skill recognition, keyframe selection, and metric calculations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. Results depend in particular on camera angle, lighting, visibility, movement execution, and model limitations.

5. User responsibility

You are responsible for:

• training in a safe environment,
• stopping immediately if you experience pain or discomfort,
• using suitable equipment,
• not relying on the app alone for health-related decisions,
• using only content you have the right to upload or process.

6. Misuse

You may not misuse the app, use it unlawfully, overload it technically, bypass safeguards, or use it in a harmful automated manner.

7. Third-party services

Certain features may require third-party services, in particular Apple for App Store payments and system speech input, Google/Firebase for analytics and crash diagnostics, and external AI or infrastructure providers for AI analysis and coach chat. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.

8. Free trial, paid features, subscriptions, and cancellation

The free trial is available once per installation and begins with the first accepted AI request. It lasts no longer than 72 hours and includes up to three successfully completed technique analyses and three outgoing coach-chat messages. Automatically generated chat titles may be technically limited separately. After the trial period ends or a limit is reached, further AI features require Premium unless CaliCoach makes a feature available free of charge.

Paid features, subscriptions, and in-app purchases are processed by Apple and StoreKit. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in time through Apple ID / App Store settings. Prices, terms, renewals, and cancellation options are shown before purchase in the App Store or Apple's purchase sheet. Apple processes payment data; CaliCoach generally receives only transaction and entitlement information required to provide the app function. Technical fair-use, security, and abuse-prevention limits may also apply to Premium.

9. User content and rights

You remain the owner of your videos, prompts, and other content. You grant CaliCoach only the rights required to provide the app functions you request, including analysis, feedback, local storage on your device, and processing through connected service providers where necessary.

10. Availability

The app may be unavailable in whole or in part due to maintenance, third-party outages, model changes, API issues, or technical failures.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CaliCoach is not liable for injuries, training mistakes, incorrect feedback, data loss, or indirect damages arising from use of the app.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated. If a legal or material change is made, renewed in-app consent may be required.
